Do you live in the Tampa area or plan to travel here soon? Oxford Exchange is a beautiful place to get together with friends for a cup of coffee or lunch at the restaurant.
I’ve been hearing great things about the Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida. When I was organizing a blogger meet up, I knew it would be a fun place to get together.
I’m a big coffee drinker, and I love finding local coffee shops. There aren’t a lot of them near me, so finding one that isn’t too far is exciting!
What impressed me most about the Oxford Exchange was how beautiful it was! It worked out great as a place to meet with bloggers since we all love to take pictures. There is a lot to explore beyond just getting coffee or a meal. There is a shop with lots of cute, eclectic items and lots of little details to see.
The only downside for me was that they don’t offer free wifi! I guess it’s intended to be more of a place to get together with friends rather than a place to come work. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee or tea while chatting.
Next time I go I definitely want to try the restaurant! The atmosphere is great and the menu sounds delicious to me.
There are two separate counters to order a drink from: one for coffee and one for tea. I opted for coffee! They had lots of drinks to choose from. I chose a vanilla latte.
There are two things I judge a local coffee place by: the atmosphere and “feel” of the place and of course, their coffee! Oxford Exchange passed with flying colors on both points!
They serve Buddy Brew Coffee, which is a Sarasota coffee company. Buddy Brew has a location in Sarasota that I’ve been meaning to visit. Now that I know how good the coffee is, I’ll be making a point to go soon.
I was really excited to meet some of my blogging friends in person! Bex from Butcher’s Niche, Mandy from Mandy Living Life, April from Pixie Dust Savings and Amanda from Meet @ the Barre. We had a great time sipping coffee and talking about all things blogging.
Do you enjoy visiting local coffee shops? What’s your favorite?

That place looks so fun! But a coffee shop without wifi? That’s just cray cray. Glad you got to meet some bloggers – definitely a great perk of blogging!

I do like that it creates more of an atmosphere to hang out and chat, though! It would have been fun to go there to work, but I’m ok without the wifi.

I saw the photo of this place that Amanda posted. That coffee shop looks incredible! I could spend all day there. If only we could move Texas and Florida closer together…

It has been so fun to see everyone’s posts and how we all got different pictures of the same place. Someday we need to find a way to all meet in the middle!

Thanks, Katie! This coffee shop is gorgeous, and the perfect place for a blogger meet up. I haven’t had many opportunities to meet bloggers before, especially not ones I am close to. It was so much fun!
