How to See New Posts from Your Favorite Blogs in the Same Place with Bloglovin’

How to see new posts from your favorite blogs with bloglovin

One of the biggest things that surprised me about blogging was how important having a community of “friends” online is to a blogger. Over the past 7 ish months I have made lots of blogging friends. We visit each other’s blogs regularly, help each other, and promote each other’s posts.

I have a group of around 10-15 blogs that I visit just about every day. This group is made up of my blogging friends and some of other favorite blogs. I used to go to each blog every day by typing in their address and seeing if they had a new post.

As my group of blogs grows, I needed an easier way to do this. I decided to play around with Bloglovin’ and see if I could use it more effectively. Although I’ve had a Bloglovin’ account ever since I started the blog, I haven’t used it much because I followed so many blogs and so my feed was cluttered.

It turns out there is an easy and effective way to create groups on Bloglovin’ so that you can easily see the blogs you love in one stream. You could also use this feature to sort the blogs you love into niche, such as a group of food blogs and a group of DIY blogs.

Step 1

Creating Groups in Bloglovin

Log into your Bloglovin’ account and hoover over the blue circle with the heart. You will see a drop down. Choose “Edit blogs you follow” and it will take you to this page. Click on create new group.

Step 2:

Creating Groups in Bloglovin to easily see new posts from your favorite bloggers

Name your group! I wasn’t super creative so I went with “Favorite Bloggers.” As I mentioned before, you could also group blogs by niche, so you might name your list “Mommy Bloggers.”

Step 3:

Creating Groups in Bloglovin  There are a couple ways that you can add blogs to your list. (1) Click on “Add Blog” and search for the blogs you want to add OR (2) When you first create a group, it will show a list of all the blogs you follow. You can scroll through the list to find blogs you want to add. For each one, click the “Change Group” drop down and select the group you would like to put them in.

Step 4:

Creating Groups in Bloglovin

Each time you log into Bloglovin’, just click on your group in the right-hand menu. Tada! All the new posts from your favorite blogs in one place.

In addition to being quick and easy to use, the best part about this is that Bloglovin’ will still give pageviews to the blogs you visit. Plus, you see the entire site when you click on the post, so you can easily comment, visit other pages, etc.

This post was a great reminder for me because I completely forgot about bloglovin’. With all of the change I have made lately I really need to hop over there and update my info. I absolutely love the look of your blog, by the way. I love the updates you have made 🙂 So pretty.

I love this!! I do the exact same thing with my bloglovin account. I have a lot of different categories set and even have ones set for my sponsors so I can make reading their posts priority!

I should make one for sponsors once I get some! That is a great idea.

This is so helpful! I have had a bloglovin for forever, but I haven’t used it because it’s only given me headaches. I bookmarked this so I can organize myself tomorrow on my day off 🙂

    Thanks for sharing, Jenna!
