Summer is officially here, and I’ve got a tasty recipe for your next party. These Roasted Red Bell Pepper & Goat Cheese Crostinis are simple to whip up, but look super fancy. You’ll have a batch ready in no time at all.
When it comes to appetizers, I like to keep my recipes simple. Whether I’m having a few friends over for dinner or throwing a bigger party, I’m bound to have a lot of other things to do before my guests arrive.
These crostinis have an italian flair and will make you feel like you are eating in a fancy restaurant. But the truth is, it only took 10 minutes to throw them together!
The ingredients for this recipe are simple, too. Stop by the store and grab a box of toast crackers, this coupon and some goat cheese. You’ll want to pick up some minced garlic and italian seasoning if you don’t have them in the house already.
I don’t think I could live without cheese! While I like just about any kind, goat cheese is probably one of my absolute favorites. I’m always using it to create over-the-top recipe. It dresses up just about any dish!
The creamy goat cheese goes so well with the roasted red bell peppers and crunchy toast. I’m big on texture when it comes to food, so I love recipes like this!
Like I mentioned before, I love appetizers that are easy to make. Another great thing about this recipe is that you can put the crostinis together ahead of time, so you have plenty of time to finish getting ready for your guests to arrive.

Yum! This looks great. Too bad I can’t do goat cheese… growing up on a goat farm I know “goat smell” well and unfortunately every goat cheese I’ve ever tested has the same smell/taste. Bleh.
I bet I could sub something else for the goat cheese, though. What would you suggest?
Stephanie says
I love gruyere cheese too!
Jenna Brussee says
Aww, that’s a bummer! I’d suggest trying ricotta cheese, or anything that is soft and spreadable.
Julie Hood says

Jenna Brussee says
You should try using ricotta like I suggested to Jaelan. Thanks girl!

I know your nonna makes the BEST food! Does she do anything differently? I’d love to get some ideas for mixing it up next time.
