25 Memorial Day Cookout Recipes

25 memorial day cookout recipes

Memorial Day is the perfect day for a cookout! Summer has finally arrived and the warm weather feels great! Get some friends together at the pool or in your backyard and pick some of these recipes to make together.

I love cooking for my friends and love any excuse to get people together. Cookouts are one of my favorite things to do on a warm summer night. Stuffed burgers are one of my specialties, and I love coming up with new ideas to share with my friends.

Chocolate lasagna? Oh you’re cruel! 🙂 I like saving this stuff not for memorial day, but for my day to day! Those kind of recipes are great to cook and take it to work! Well, except for the chocolate lasagna… that wouldn’t have lasted a day.

All fabulous recipes! It’s hard to believe it will be May soon as it’s still cold out! 51 and cloudy and windy today. Ugh.

Hopefully the weather will warm up for you by Memorial Day! It’s HOT here in Florida but still nice at night this time of year.

These are so not on the gluten free diet I am trying to be on lol. We actually do the pasta salad all the time. You can actually take a box of Suddenly Salad Cesar and chicken to it. Then do some garlic bread. That is my hubby’s favorite thing to eat

So I might have to stop reading your blog because I’m trying to go gluten free, and your recipes are just too tempting! Haha yeah, right. Like that will ever happen. I love A Savory Feast too much 🙂 I cannot wait to try that Chinese Chicken Salad. It sounds so refreshing!

Going gluten free would be quite a challenge! I bet you could modify a lot of my recipes to be gluten free once you get the hang of what you need to switch out.

Avocado deviled eggs is unusual. I’ve made avocado alfredo sauce over zucchini noodles before. It was actually pretty darn tasty. Too bad I lack portion control. =) I love Memorial Day… It’s close to my birthday and BBQs are awesome! Do you have recipes for the smoker?

My dad always made turkey on the smoker, so good! I don’t have any recipes up, though.
