Are you planning a movie night with friends? I’ve got a sweet treat that takes minutes to make. These Dr Pepper® Cherry Floats put a fun spin on a classic drink. Get ready for your movie night by heading to Walmart to grab some snacks and the ingredients for your ice cream floats.

Having a variety of candies to munch on during the movie is a great touch! Pour all the candies you bought into small bowls and place them on the coffee table or somewhere your guests will be able to access them easily.
Now let’s get to this easy recipe! When you and your guests are ready for dessert, grab the vanilla ice cream from the freezer and open the Dr Pepper® Cherry. You can let your guests scoop their own ice cream and pour the soda over, or you can do it all yourself.
Then start up your movie and enjoy sipping on your Dr Pepper® Cherry floats while you watch!

Dr Pepper® Cherry Floats
Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
- 2 liter Dr Pepper® Cherry soda
Instructions
- Place about three scoops of ice cream into a tall glass.
- Slowly pour the Dr Pepper® Cherry over the ice cream. You may have to stop for a second to let the fizz die down and then add a little more.
- Serve immediately.
