Cocozia Coconut Water Review with Smoothie Recipe

June 27, 2014 by A Savory Feast 5 Comments

Cocozia Coconut Water Review with healthy smoothie recipe**This post contains affiliate links. By clicking on and purchasing items through these links, you will be supporting A Savory Feast. I was given a package of Cocozia Coconut Water for free for the purpose of reviewing the product and writing about it on my blog.

I was sent a package of Cocozia 100% Organic Coconut Water to review and write about. It had been awhile since I’d had coconut water, so I wasn’t sure if I would like it. While I didn’t like it plain, I found a yummy way to add it to a smoothie so I still got the benefits of it.

Andrew loved drinking it plain, though! He has been drinking one every morning and has really noticed a difference in how he feels during the day. I felt much more awake and alert all day after drinking my smoothie. I also noticed that it really kick started my metabolism and I was so hungry all day!

Coconut water is a natural source of electrolytes, so it’s a great alternative to sugar-filled sports drinks. Cocozia’s Coconut Water is organic and natural, with no added sugar and no preservatives.

I decided to try creating a smoothie with coconut water rather than fruit juice. I used frozen strawberries but you can add any frozen fruit (or vegetable!) you like. This refreshing smoothie was a great breakfast smoothie, and would also be good for before or after working out.

Healthy Coconut Water Smoothie with Cocozia Review

Here’s the recipe:

4 tbsp coconut water
1/2 cup frozen fruit (I used strawberries)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1/4 cup oats

1. Combine ingredients in order listed in a blender.
2. Blend well.

Visit the Cocozia website to find out more about their coconut water and see what stores carry it on their website. You can also click the following link to purchase it on Amazon.com: Cocozia 100% Organic Coconut Water
