Need a quick party appetizer? Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Dip is sure to please! Made with just a few ingredients that you probably have on hand, this dip is great served with pretzels, graham crackers or vanilla wafers!
Today I’ve joined some food blogger friends to throw a virtual shower for our friend Erin over at The Speckled Palate! Erin is welcoming her second baby soon, and we are celebrating by sharing lots of delicious recipes that are perfect for a baby shower.
I’m sharing my recipe for Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Dip. A lot of the time, I make savory appetizers for parties. But sweet appetizers can have their place, too!
You’ll love how quick and easy it is to mix up this dip. It only takes a few ingredients and less than 10 minutes to get ready.
Then just put it in a serving bowl and add something to dip in it. A few of my favorites are pretzels, graham crackers and vanilla wafers.
If you want to make the dip ahead of time, no problem! You can store it in the refrigerator. Just be sure to take it out and let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes or so before serving so that it can soften up.

- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (1 block)
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
In a stand mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar until combined. Add the cream cheese and peanut butter and beat until combined. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla, beat until combined. Add in the chocolate chips and beat for a few seconds until mixed in.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with pretzels, graham crackers and/or vanilla wafers.
If you won't be serving right away, store in the refrigerator. It will keep for a couple of days. When you are ready to serve, remove from the refrigerator and let sit on the counter for 15 minutes to soften before serving.
