Celebrating the Holidays at Hollywood Studios

December 22, 2014 by A Savory Feast 13 Comments

Last week I talked about my trip to Orlando and our stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa. One of the fun things we did while we were there was visit Hollywood Studios. I had never been there before, and Christmas is the perfect time to go!

Celebrating the Holidays at Hollywood Studios

I’m in a season of life right now where I am figuring out new holiday traditions and figuring out how to split up holidays with my boyfriend. This year, I think I’ve found a new tradition — visiting Disney World!

I heard from several friends that Hollywood Studios is the best park to visit during the holidays. Mainly because of The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. We decided to take our time at the resort in the morning and get to the park a little later so that we could stay until dark.

When we walked through this section of the park during the day, we could see all the lights covering the building. We knew we were in for an incredible lights display!

Be sure to get over to the Streets of America where the lights are located as soon as you can after it gets dark! We saw the 6:30 PM Fantasmic show and headed straight over, along with the thousands of other people who watched the show.

We got to the street and were able to enjoy the lights easily, but when we were trying to make our way out we saw that hundreds of people were waiting just to get into that section of the park.

This vacation was the perfect way to officially kick of the holiday season. If you are planning to visit Orlando before the holidays, I highly recommend visiting Hollywood Studios.

Merry Christmas!

Meet Summer from Coffee with Summer! Reading her blog is like sitting down for a coffee date and talking about life. It’s been a lot of fun to get to know her this month! You can get to know her, too, with a few fun questions:

What is one goal you have for your blog in 2015? One goal I have for Coffee With Summer in 2015 is to keep growing my reader base and to connect with more bloggers.

What is your favorite holiday tradition? My favorite holiday tradition is relaxing with a classic Christmas movie with some hot cocoa in hand.

Are you planning to make a new years resolution this year? I don’t think I’ll making any New Year’s resolutions this year, but I’ll continue to make my monthly goals.
