Breakfast with Birch Benders

October 21, 2014 by A Savory Feast 19 Comments

Breakfast with Birch Benders

I’ve said it before, but breakfast is my favorite meal! Whenever Andrew and I have a day off, we always start the day by either making or going out for a big breakfast. Pancakes are definitely my number one choice for a special breakfast.

I recently came across Birch Benders Micro-Pancakery.  Their mixes are made with natural and organic ingredients. They are also trans-fat free and non-GMO. It’s not very often that I splurge and make pancakes, so when I do, I want them to be better for me.

Don’t these pancake mixes come in the cutest packages? The artwork and attention to detail is beautiful. Each flavor has a different whimsical design that hints at what is inside..

Birch Benders

Making Birch Benders pancakes couldn’t be easier! All you have to do is add water. When it comes to big breakfasts like this, one kitchen appliance I can’t live without is my Family Size Griddle. My pancakes turn out great every time, and it’s also great for making bacon and eggs.

You can get Birch Benders pancakes in all sorts of delicious flavors! You can go more traditional with the classic recipe or chocolate chip. They even have a gluten free version!

Six Grain Cinnamon: This was my favorite flavor. It was hearty and filling, with oats and a hint of cinnamon.

Ginger Spice: This is the perfect Fall pancake. It has the perfect amount of spice. It goes great with pumpkin spice lattes!

Double Chocolate Peppermint: This flavor tastes more like dessert than breakfast. It had peppermint and chocolate chips in the mix. It would be a great Christmas morning breakfast.

I received samples of Birch Benders Pancake Mix in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.

I was thinking that, Calvin! It’s nice because you only have to add water.

Great review but I must disagree with your opinion of chocolate.

I love this! I also am not a fan of chocolate for breakfast…. but my husband ALWAYS wants chocolate chips in his pancakes and is ALWAYS trying to get me to convert….. I just want pancakes… No chocolate. But I bet that chocolate peppermint would be amazing as a crepe with some whipped cream! Thanks for sharing on Come Along Ponds! I think I’m going to buy some of these for my Fall Comfort Giveaway.

I think I want to enter your Fall Comfort Giveaway! You should include some pumpkin candles, too.
