Is it just me, or does every week just go by faster and faster? It’s already Friday again! I’m really excited for this week. Andrew and I have a fun day planned for Valentine’s Day tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to having a couple days off work and being able to relax.
I read so many blog posts each week, and I love to have this chance to share my favorites! This week was filled with delicious Valentine’s Day recipes and DIY projects to get ready for spring.
Here are my favorite posts from fellow bloggers this past week…
These 25 Romantic Dinners from Cooking with Curls sound so good! We have been trying to cook instead of going out for date night each week, so I was glad to find some ideas for special meals.
Nina from Flowers in My Hair taught me how to make coffee like an Italian.
I’ve been working on growing A Savory Feast’s Instagram, and these tips from Coffee with Summer were really helpful!
I featured these Cake Batter Pancakes from Butter & Jam at Hump Day Happenings this week. Don’t they sound incredible?
Just in case you missed it…
Parmesan Sweet Potato Chips
7 Valentine’s Day Date Ideas for the Foodie Couple
Bacon & Cheese Pigs in a Blanket
Tell me about your week! What were some of the highlights?

Say hi to Sharon from Her Organized Chaos! I still can’t believe Sharon is new to blogging. She shares so many beautiful and creative posts. I love her organization tips!
What is your favorite type of blog post to write? My favorite type of post to write is anything that I feel like I can help another family that lives like me. My family lives very frugal because we want to and because we have to. I want other families to know that it’s ok and that you can still have a beautiful home even if you can’t afford it.
Do you have any plans for Valentine’s Day this year? My husband’s birthday is on Valentine’s Day. So that day is usually spent celebrating him. Although, he’s always thoughtful and gives the children and I sweet little gifts. This Valentine’s Day, my 8 year old daughter has a cheer competition! Good luck Titans!!
What is your favorite ice cream flavor? I have never really been an ice cream fan. However, I can eat the crap out of some Bluebell ice cream! I only have it when I head south to visit family. Lately I have been in love with mint chocolate chip! I had it for the first time last year! Can you believe it? I don’t know where it’s been all my life. I love mint chocolate chip topped with the Reese’s hardshell topping. YUM!!

Friday night practices, cookie booths then up at the crack of dawn for my daughter’s cheer comp – 1st Place National Champions! Now, I’m all I’m seeing as I’m typing this is I can check out the Bacon & Cheese Pigs in a Blanket and the Texas Peach Crisp Skillet… Both sound perfect!
