It’s Friday again, and I’m sharing a little blogger love! This week, I’m introducing you to one of my sponsors. Let’s get to know Jenna of Dearest Love. Doesn’t she have a great name?
One of the best things about having blog sponsors is getting to know your sponsors better! This month I had so much fun working with Jenna. I’m doing something a little different for Blogger Love this week, and just sharing a few of my favorite posts from Jenna.
I’ve been loving Jenna’s Scenes from NYC series. Every time she travels, Jenna shares her trip recaps, which are filled with gorgeous pictures and fun adventures. Her trip to NYC sounded like a blast!
I always enjoy participating in Jenna’s Coffee Date link up. It’s a one-a-month link up where you can share your highlights and lowlights, just like we were sitting down for a cup of coffee.
Jenna shared her Day in the Life of a Teacher a few weeks ago. It’s fun to get a peek into someone else’s world!
This week Jenna shared a tasty Cranberry Lime Salsa. Doesn’t that sound like a delicious combination? I can’t wait to try it!
Let’s get to know Jenna with a few fun questions…
I love your blog name! What’s the story behind it? Thanks! In college, I kept a journal for my future husband. I experienced a lot of heartbreak in college, but writing to the man I would marry, even though I didn’t know who it was at the time, was really comforting. I began each journal entry with “Dearest Love”. I wrote to him about daily life, prayers, hopes and dreams, and drew silly little pictures for him. I gave him the journal on our honeymoon!
What is your favorite type of post to write? The type of posts I get most excited about are recipes, small business features, and posts about my creative dreams.
I always enjoy your recipe posts. What is your favorite type of food to cook? Recipes and cooking are my favorites! I really enjoy cooking sweets–cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls. YUM!
Where is your favorite place to travel? Oh, that’s a tough one! Lamar and I love to travel, and each place is so different from the next. Last year, we traveled to France, North Carolina, and New York City. They were all so wonderful and unique in their own way! France was absolutely wonderful, though. No surprise there, right?
Do you and Lamar have plans for Valentine’s Day this year? Yes! We are going to do an at-home date. Lamar’s going to cook, which doesn’t happen often, and I’m going to decorate and make dessert. Then we will probably binge watch House of Cards. It’s our current obsession! Ha.
