My obsession with food has definitely increased since I started food blogging, but I have always loved cooking, going out to a new restaurant, browsing Pinterest for a new recipe to try, and flipping through a cookbook filled with gorgeous pictures.
When it comes to Christmas or my birthday, you can’t go wrong with a food-related gift! I hand-selected this list of gift ideas that are sure to delight the food enthusiast on your list.
A Foodie’s Holiday Wish List
KitchenAid Mixer: I’ve never met a food lover who didn’t dream of owning a KitchenAid mixer! If your friend or family member already has one, there are many accessories that make great gifts as well.
S’mores Maker: This fun S’mores Maker lets you warm up your marshmallow indoors. Great for a party or when the weather is not conducive to campfires.
BBQ Tool Set: The foodie who loves to entertain will appreciate a BBQ tool set complete with knives, spatulas, a basting brush and more.
Cookbooks: I love flipping through a cookbook filled with gorgeous pictures. If your foodie enjoys trying food from other cultures, I recently got The New Indian Slow Cooker and am loving it!
Coffee Mugs: The more eclectic, the better! Etsy is a great place to find handmade mugs such as this one from Oh Simple Joys.
Food Subscription Box: Give a gift that keeps on giving! Your favorite foodie can get a monthly package in the mail filled with food products. Some popular services are Urthbox, Graze and Nature Box.
French Press: Any coffee lover will enjoy making their daily caffeine fix in a french press. Wrap it up with a bag of coffee grounds and a mug for a perfect gift.
Winery Tour/Tasting: Find a local winery and buy a gift certificate for a winery tour/tasting. This is a great way to give a gift that you and the recipient can enjoy together.
Custom Cutting Board: Have a wooden cutting board engraved with their initials or last name. Perfect for a newly married couple or someone who just moved into a new house.
Infuser Water Bottle: A water bottle that allows you to create your own flavored water using fresh fruit? How cool is that?
Donut Pan: Wouldn’t it be fun to make your own homemade donuts? If you know someone who loves to bake, get them a donut pan along with a donut cookbook.
Sushi Making Kit : If your foodie loves trying new sushi places, why not let them make their own at home? You could also include a gift card to an Asian market so they can buy supplies.
Handpainted Measuring Cups: These measuring cups are both functional and decorative! Find a set that matches your loved one’s kitchen or personality.
Local Food Tour: Check to see if there is a food tour in your town. A food tour is a great way to discover the hidden gem restaurants in your town.
Dessert in a Jar: Go the DIY route and try a making a dessert mix in a mason jar! Add a cute label and instructions.
Fondue Pot: A fondue pot is fun for entertaining. It can be used for lots of things, from chocolate to cheese to frying donuts.
Monogrammed Apron: You can’t go wrong with a monogrammed apron. Add a few baking supplies such as cupcake liners, colorful spatulas and cookie cutters.
Food-scented Candles: How about a candle that smells like bacon? Or candy apples? These candles will cause a foodie to think about food even more!
Gourmet Olive Oil: For the foodie who loves to cook gourmet meals at home! I’ve even seen entire stores at the mall devoted to olive oil. You could put together a collection of favorites at a store or order a gift basket online.

What a fun list! Now I wwant a s’ mores maker. I do have a kitchen aid and it is A Maze Ing! I use it 2-3 times a week to bake or make bread (or shred chicken!) and have almost convinced the hubby that I need a second bowl for it. I was just thinking I’d put together a post about my go-to kitchen items soon since I keep getting requests, but it could totally double as a gift guide!
Jenna Brussee says
Wouldn’t a s’mores maker be so much fun? I would take it out anytime I’m bored.
