Planning a 4th of July Cookout? Get ready for your party in 5 easy steps.

The 4th of July sort of snuck up on me this year. I can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by! It’s crazy that the month of July is almost here.

Even though it’s crazy hot this time of the year in Florida, the 4th of July is a great time to have a cookout by the pool or the beach. As long as you can cool off in the water! Today I’m sharing how to plan a super easy 4th of July cookout in just 5 steps!

Want to make your party even easier? Assign one step to each of your guests. If you have more than 5 guests, assign a couple people to bring sides and a couple people to bring drinks so you are sure to have plenty.

Step 1: Main Dish

First, decide on the main dish. Pick a classic to grill up like hamburgers and hot dogs or kebabs. Here are a couple ideas to get you started:

  • Honey Bourbon BBQ Ribs
  • Cream Cheese Stuffed Burgers
  • Italian Stuffed Turkey Burgers

Step 2: Effortless Side Dish

Grab a couple boxes of Suddenly Salad for the easiest side dish ever! You can make the pasta salad ahead of time and put in the fridge so it’s nice and cold for your cookout. I tried the Ranch Bacon version, but they also have a bunch of other great flavors.

Step 3: Drinks

Stock up on some ice cold drinks to keep everyone refreshed during the cookout. Be sure to have some water on hand. You can keep cans and bottles of your favorite beverages nice and cold by filling a cooler or beverage tub with ice before loading it up.

Step 4: Dessert

Be sure to have something for dessert, too! It can be really simple like a batch of brownies or go for a red, white and blue treat like this Berry Mascarpone Tart!

Step 5: Party Supplies

Last but not least, pick up some cute red, white and blue paper plates, napkins and cups. Some fun paper straws are a great way to make your party extra festive!
