5 Kitchen Gadgets I Can’t Live Without

May 5, 2016 by A Savory Feast 9 Comments

Have you ever wondered what kitchen gadgets your favorite food bloggers use? Today I’m sharing my favorite gadgets that I use all the time in my own kitchen.

5 Kitchen Gadgets I Can't Live Without (and why!)

This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. By making a purchase through these links, you will be supporting A Savory Feast at no extra cost to you.

You may have guessed this already, but I love to cook! I’m also a big fan of anything that can make my life easier. When it comes to cooking, there are a few tools that I use all the time and just couldn’t live without.

#1: KitchenAid Stand Mixer

The number one gadget on this list just has to be my KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I’m not kidding when I say I use this thing all the time. Sure, it’s great for baking (which I must admit, I’ve been doing too much of lately!). But it’s also great for making other cooking tasks so much easier. I use it to mash potatoes, shred chicken and more as I prepare dinner.

#2: Immersion Blender

Another tool I use on a regular basis is my immersion blender. I love it because it’s easy to use and easy to clean. It comes in handy for scrambling eggs, making guacamole, pureeing soups and more.

#3: Ninja Blender

Did you know that a blender can be used for so much more than smoothies? I have the Ninja Professional Blender and I’ve used it to make oat flour for recipes like my Healthy Banana Bread, make pasta sauce and even mix up brownies.

#4: Amazon Fire

It may seem a little strange to include a tablet in a list of kitchen gadgets, but trust me, you will love this one! I’ve found that I really like using my Amazon Fire tablet to view recipes while I’m cooking. It’s much easier to read than a phone screen. Plus it’s much less expensive than other tablets (it’s under $50!).

#5: Slow Cooker

Even though I work from home, I love using my slow cooker to make dinner on a busy day. I can set it up and forget about it while I run errands or get some work done.

What are a few kitchen gadgets you can’t live without?

I just love my Amazon Fire! I had considered getting an iPad but just didn’t feel like it would be worth it for me. The Fire is so much cheaper, but it does everything I need it to!

This is a great list. I use my fire all of the time to cook — you are right so much easier and more economical too!

Isn’t it nice to use a tablet instead of a tiny phone screen? Plus I’m not always accidentally exiting out of the recipe when I get a text or something.

I second the KitchenAid and the immersion blender! I used my Magic Bullet SO much for five years, but it finally died. I think I’m going to take advantage of Mother’s Day sales this weekend and get a Ninja.

You should definitely get a Ninja! I use mine all the time and it is awesome!

I did! Kohl’s had a good sale, plus Kohl’s cash, so I bought myself one yesterday. Happy Mother’s Day to me 🙂

This list pretty much covers everything, except the one appliance I use the most… the coffee maker ?
