11 Must Have Kitchen Items & A Wish List

December 2, 2014 by A Savory Feast 15 Comments

Whether you are setting up a new kitchen or replacing your older items, I’ve got something for you! Today I’m sharing my 11 Must Have Kitchen Items, which are all items I can’t live without! Then check out some of the fun items on my Kitchen Wish List.

11 Must Have Kitchen Items

Disclosure: I am a member of the Wayfair Homemakers and I received a gift card in exchange for participating in this campaign. However, I selected these items on my own and all opinions are mine.

I have used my Pie Pan so much this Fall! This time of year just makes me want to bake. This pie pan is perfect for both desserts and other recipes such as Chicken Pot Pie.

These Pyrex Measuring Cups are one of the most commonly used items in my kitchen! They are great for measuring, melting butter, mixing and more.

Bamboo Cutting Boards are the best! I like to have several different sizes for different cooking needs.

My Crock Pot has been a lifesaver! It’s great for making sure I can have a good meal even if I’m going to be gone all day. I also love using mine for making desserts!

I can’t live without a Cast Iron Skillet! There are so many ways to use it, from making stir-fry to cooking burgers.

A Rectangular Baking Dish is a must for preparing casseroles or desserts. This one has handles to make it easy to transport to a potluck.

These large Batter Bowls are perfect for mixing up a cake or a batch of cookies! Plus I love the fun colors they come in.

I prefer using Wooden Utensils to plastic when I’m cooking. I am always reaching for them when I make sauces or saute vegetables.

Whether I’m draining pasta or rinsing vegetables, a Colander is a handy tool to keep near the sink.

A Whisk is great for both baking and cooking. I think that the silicone ones are much easier to clean!

Ramekins are great for making individual desserts or even mini pot pies. Bonus points if they are cute and colorful!

Kitchen Wish List

I’ve been seeing lots of donut recipes on Pinterest that I want to try! A Donut Pan is a fun item on my wish list.

My friends have been raving about their Dutch Ovens. I’m sure I could find lots of wonderful ways to use one!

How cute is this Mason Jar Cocktail Shaker? And those little shooters? Adorable!

A Fondue Pot would be great for parties or for a creative at-home date night. It could be used for chocolate or cheese. Yum!

This 4 Piece Stainless Steel Multi-Pot can be used as a double boiler or for steaming vegetables! I love sets that fit nicely together for storage and have lots of uses!

This Cutting Board has built-in drawers. It would be so handy when I have to chop up multiple vegetables for a recipe.

I cook fish often, so this Fish Spatula would make it so much easier to flip them! It might be helpful for other things too, such as flipping omelets.

What are some of your must-have kitchen tools? Are any of these items on your wish list, too?

I wouldn’t survive without our vitamix, slow cooker, toaster, and pots and pans! This is such a good list 🙂

Thanks! I need to get a Vitamix someday. Right now I have a personal-sized blender, though, and I love it!

Eek! I love those wooden utensils and that mason jar cocktail shaker! We don’t cook a lot (I know, I know) but we do have most of these thanks to our wedding registry–haha!

At least you have them, just in case! I actually just ordered the mason jar cocktail shaker from Wayfair — I couldn’t resist!

Great list! I really want to get a crock pot that has a lockable lid for when I make something to take to my home group. And my Pyrex measuring cups are also one of my most used items in my kitchen =)

I’ve been using my crockpot so much lately! I didn’t use it forever but I recently started to find recipes I really like using it. You can even make dessert with it!

A waffle maker that flips. I don’t use this daily, but I did register for it for my wedding and I use it way more than I thought I would and I know when we have kids and sleepovers I’ll be busting it out then too!
